Because I can! I'm totally getting the hang of this! *bounces around*
So, I'm a sucker for kids. A big sucker. I just want make this clear before we go any further.
I was on my bus (which I don't ride anymore because I CAN DRIVE!XD)and there is a certain group of kids that like to sit around me. They're between the ages of about 7 and 12 and are all quite sweet. And whenever I mention that I have new story in the works, they always beg and beg to hear it. I don't mind, because it's nice to be able to bounce off people and they have decent ideas sometimes.
A couple months ago, I mentioned my idea for the Prince of Ros story to Anna, my favorite of the children. She then, promptly, asked to hear about it. I began and then Noah and the rest of them realized I was telling a story and turned around to hear. I just had the basic idea then, so I outlined it, simply so they could understand it, and they started going on and on about how great a story it was.
It was here I made my fatal mistake. I said something along the lines of "Yeah, but I'm stuck on the names. The names for the Rosians have to have something to do with flying or the sky or something along the those lines and I just can't think of anymore names!"
The look on their faces was down-right hungry. "We'll help you think of some names, Katelyn!"
With the exception of Jack, Bolt, Dive, Shot, Air, Flight, Comet, Solar, Horizon, Windy, Eclipse, Dusk, and Twilight (who were my main characters and already at least partially developed by this point in time), and Shymmer, Ash, and Orion who were made with love by Becca, these characters belong to the proud little children of bus 07-28. Their personalities, though I have tweaked them slightly, are just as their 'parents' intended.
*chuckles* You have been warned.
( Play nice with my babies.... )
