Nearly made me cry. Twice. Also, I love spanish!Buzz so very much. Has anyone else seen the movie? What was you're favorite part? (spanish!Buzz ftw!!! XP )

And, on the subject of cartoons, me and my little brother have been joking around lately about a show on Nickelodeon called Avatar: The Last Airbender (will be so shocked if you haven't heard of it) And by joking around I mean we watched this one episode that had them going to see a play about themselves and

actor!Azula goes *pointing behind actor!Zuko* "What's that? I think it's your honor!"

actor!Zuko *turns and looks* "Where!?"

And then she escapes. So now me and my little brother  randomly go up to each and say "Look! Your honor!" and the other one has to turn around and go "Where!?"

But I've gotten off track! Its got me thinking about Nicktoons in general. What would you guys rate as the best (and worst!) shows Nick has ever come out with? (I nominate the Rugrats as part of the "best" list!)

And its not even in a fandom this time!! Why is it I'm imagining AUs for my own original stories? Why?!?

What am I talking about? Oh, I will tell you what I'm talking about! It won't make any sense but I'm tell you!

So, remember that story I posted the prologue and character list for, The Prince of Ros? Well, there's these 5 kids that dominate one part of the plot (it's their part at least) and are really important and stuff. But see, there was 6 of them in the beginning, Number Six, or Rise, died in vitro. So, the thought that occured to me today (in the middle of math class, unfortunately) was this. What if, instead of 5 out of the 6 surviving, it flipped and only 1 survived, the one that died in the real story.

Thus, the idea was born. I got curious, what would be different, if I changed this one event? If I left everything else up until that point the same and then changed that, how would the rest of the story change? The answer was surprizing to me, because I felt like, yeah, there would be differences, but not anything huge.

I was so disgustingly wrong.

I can't tell you everything that changes, because that would be spoiler-ish and I do plan on posting it here when I get everything out of my notebook, but I can tell you, things go horribly horribly wrong.

But, still, I felt like I had to share, so lookie! It's an unpleasant world.

From the universe of The Prince of Ros comes a haunting look at What Could Have Been.

Rise
"What if..." are the cruelest words.

On a completely different note, I showed a girl on my bus this picture:
Just don't ask

And her response was "So it was a Blind Date?"

My gosh, I love these kids.

It's been awhile so I thought I'd catch up real quick. Nothing much is going on, though I am getting a lot of writing done. Just not fanfiction ^_^' But I still have to write Sara a birthday fic. Eventually. I'll get around to it soon promise! In other news, school is almost over! Fellow American teenagers ( if any of you out there are teens in the USA which I find myself doubting) who is so ready?

Because I can! I'm totally getting the hang of this! *bounces around*

So, I'm a sucker for kids. A big sucker. I just want make this clear before we go any further.

I was on my bus (which I don't ride anymore because I CAN DRIVE!XD)and there is a certain group of kids that like to sit around me. They're between the ages of about 7 and 12 and are all quite sweet. And whenever I mention that I have new story in the works, they always beg and beg to hear it. I don't mind, because it's nice to be able to bounce off people and they have decent ideas sometimes.

A couple months ago, I mentioned my idea for the Prince of Ros story to Anna, my favorite of the children. She then, promptly, asked to hear about it. I began and then Noah and the rest of them realized I was telling a story and turned around to hear. I just had the basic idea then, so I outlined it, simply so they could understand it, and they started going on and on about how great a story it was.

It was here I made my fatal mistake. I said something along the lines of "Yeah, but I'm stuck on the names. The names for the Rosians have to have something to do with flying or the sky or something along the those lines and I just can't think of anymore names!"

The look on their faces was down-right hungry. "We'll help you think of some names, Katelyn!"

With the exception of Jack, Bolt, Dive, Shot, Air, Flight, Comet, Solar, Horizon, Windy, Eclipse, Dusk, and Twilight (who were my main characters and already at least partially developed by this point in time), and Shymmer, Ash, and Orion who were made with love by Becca, these characters belong to the proud little children of bus 07-28. Their personalities, though I have tweaked them slightly, are just as their 'parents' intended.

*chuckles* You have been warned.

Play nice with my babies.... )

FYI
So most of you already know this but, seeing as I'm trying to get in the habit of using this thing (hate! Why can't it just read my mind? Is that so much to ask?) I'm going to put this here anyways. I'm working on original fiction these days. More specifically, a story I've been calling The Prince of Ros......It's a working title, cut me a break *grumbles*

Either way,I'm working on it and its coming along as well as can be expected. (read: The only chapter actually typed is the prologue, everything else actually on the computer is pulled from random spots in my timeline because that's what I felt like writing) But I miss getting feedback, I really do. Makes me wish I could just change everyone's names and say, "Look, an AU!"

That wouldn't go over too well, though, especially considering, oh wait, I forgot, I'm not supposed to tell that part because you'll all give me weird looks *shifty eyes*

But yeah. Trying to use this thing, feeling awkward because I'm talking to no one in particular, it's like an author's note with no story after it. But longer. And awkwarder (is that even a word?)

Oh, wait, I can fix that!

Look! A Prologue! )

Hmm, still needs work. Either way, that's the basic idea. Do you like?

I passed my Driver's Test! Woo hoo! I'm officially on the road. Ya'll better watch out! :P

No but seriously? I'm so excited. We went all the way up to Cullman this time to get it instead of going to stupid Finley again. I hate Finley so much, they're so biased! I'd tell why but I like my blood inside my body, thank you very much.

Either way, I got this really nice old man as my test giver and we talked the whole time he was giving me the test. And then at the end he said. "....Let's go get a license!"
I'm not ashamed to admit I shrieked.

But I can drive! *does a dance*

I'm back! I just spent, like, a week in Vegas and it was amazing! I met so many people (and a lot of them made fun of my accent, dammit!) from so many different places. A lot of Asians especially. We don't have many Asians where I live, it was kind of cool. And there was this one guy, oh my gosh, he was so hilarious. He was trying to get people to come to his spa or something and he's just out on the street saying "Foot Massage? Foot Massage?" but when he said it it sounded like "Footou Muassage?" and after we passed him we laughed SO HARD! It was crazy. I don't have all my pictures downloaded yet (I just got back home about 3 hours ago) but when I get them all I'll put the good ones up here. Maybe. Depends on it I can get this thing to work. But I'm so tired! It was my first time on an airplane and who ever knew sitting still could make you so tired?

This is why I'm so tired )

And that's just everything I can remember! We ate at lots of places too, but I can't remember all the names. Either way, I feel like I had a pretty full vacation!

I failed it. Again. Pathetic, right? And it was for atupid thing that my dad does All The Time! He did it pulling out of the parking lot while he was getting on to me for doing it! Isn't that the stupidest thing ever? There was this STOP sign and this guy was turning around in the middle of the road and I didn't want to pull up all the way and force him to hit me or something, so just idled a little bit until he got out of the way. Then, I looked both ways, stopped of course, not moving but not doing that little lurch thing that tells you you stopped completely, and went on with the test and the stupid guy failed me for not stop at the STOP sign! It's so stupid!
